Bill Clinton argued about the word "is" during the Monica Lewinski hearings and here it all about the word "if"... Two letter words are becoming worse then four letter words...lol

So really I did not think this would of became such a discussion when i created this.
Only reason i never had straps on the front 5 feet of the load was due to it was all suspended in mid air. The first strap on the load is the first part that had direct contact with the deck of the trailer to sinch it down. In my eyes if i would of put straps on the front it would of been pointless, due to it would of been for only looks. Couldnt put any pressure on them at all.
And yeah i should of put three over the back also dunno what crossed my mind on that one. Normially I do one of those moments I guess.
But I learned a few things by asking for help. So its all good, Just never thought a thread i created would go on for this long. -
The one thing yall are forgetting is the rule you keep arguing about is for straight loads IE crates bar stock square or round loads, there is also the rule(not sure the reg#) cover miss shaped or lack of securement pieces. Ie doest touch the trailer no securment points, we use this alot in heavy haul and over sized pieces. Some of the high pressure tanks i haul only have 3-4 securement points down each side and they are anywhere from 50-70 plus feet

Super singles. Not sure how exactly they figure the weight allowance since some states go by axle and some by tire width, but I do know you are legal at 34k on a tandem with them.

Missed that post(#31) put again if you look at the load there is a point he could put a strap on the ower point of the front of the load, but the second teir is air born no way to secure it. and yes this load would fall under fabricated metals and covered under 393.110.
As far as super singles, The tires have a wierd wieght rating, they are suppose to actually have a high wieght rating than duals. Me personaly I dont like them and dont trust them, but then again Im old school
