HELP me help him! What GPS do you use?

    Garmin DEZL560LT seems to be very good and accurate. Make sure though that it has the lifetime maps so you don't have to pay to download. Got my hubby's at Love's Truck Stop. Can get it on Amazon to. Working great for him as a newbie too.

    fire trucks are class B, most roads are class B roads. The roads with the no trucks sign will allow a class b truck.

    magellan makes very good units. ive had 3 or 4 other POS gps's and the magellan is by far my favorite one. always plan your route a gps helps but it can lead you into trouble if you let it. i use google maps on my I phone 4GS to get aerial shots of locations that i am unfamiliar with. if you plan ahead and know exactly where the destination is and how to enter it it will take alot of stress away from the job. take your time and always plan ahead no matter how big of a hurry you are in.
