Absolutely and it's the best time of year right now. The off season, our Superbowl!

Omfg. I thought there might be hope.

To be honest though, the trades and signings that we've made are making me think we might have a legit shot at the playoffs this year.

Good idea for a single driver; live in the truck and bank some money. Choose a company that's set up for driver comfort and run coast to coast for the long runs.
Find a 160 hr. school, then call some companies you're interested in and ask if they hire from that school.
Here's a few coast to coast trucking companies with lots of driver comforts:
Freymiller - www.drive4freymiller.com
Butler Transport - www.driveforbutler.com
Dynamic Transit - no northeast
Schuster
Navajo Express
Danny Herman Trucking - most runs stay below I-40
Jim Palmer Trucking - has their own cdl school.Chris the newbie Thanks this. -
Thanks Chinatown, I'll check into all of those as well.

You have a ton of options for school in Ohio. Tri-c has a program, tdds. Down near Y-town, and numerous others (google is your friend). There are also a ton of trucking positions in Ohio both big and small companies . I used to live in the Burton, chardon, middlefield area. Also painesville over near the hospital and worked at the winking lizard in mentor.
Living in the truck can have its advantages as long as you can live with the disadvantages. You're gonna wind up doing things you hate as well as things you like. Eventually the work becomes easier.
Good luck.Chris the newbie Thanks this. -
Thanks for the encouragement.SingingWolf Thanks this.
