I know it’s not cheap but have you spoken to a attorney if you have been trouble free for five years you might be able to get the conviction expongued. I would look to smaller companies but there my go to anyway they usually don’t do background checks just mvr at least that’s how it used to be before psp

 

Since moose has already posted things from my state I see no reason to rehatch this but I know what I’ve had done and I know what’s no longer on my record and I paid the fine took the ticket went back a few years later got it removed by paying a #### good lawyer hard earned money. So believe what you like. Courts and states are all about money the right lawyer and enough money can make a lot of things in the shadows disappear

 

Well Rachel by now you should have finished orientation or been sent packing. I truly hope it’s the first and you are now in training. I really hope you are a regular contributor here on the forum to keep us abreast of your progress. Hell a YouTube channel to give motivation to others who have similar problems finding work. I for one think the industry needs a bigger influx of easier on the eyes drivers!!!

Maybe Burger King, contrary to your statement I do not believe you'll find this industry to be friendly to Robbery, or Theft. People are trusting us sometimes with multi-million dollar loads.
As far as to if you have changed or not, well I'm not blessed with the power to see a mans heart, but time will tell. Covenant is a driver mill if they turn you down good luck.
