I'd cry if I owned a Corvette too...
I had a '94 Viper. Fun as hell to drive. Sad part was my Duramax and my Cummins could outrun it on the strip.
Help me survive another year OTR

I'd love to play with a Viper. Slow, fast, it doesn't matter. I'm sure it's a blast to throw through some turns.
Yeah, I've seen some impressive Diesels. Most don't do much on the back half but they're rocket ships on the takeoff. Then there's some people who've put so much work into them, they're running 9s lol.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
Here's a few pics and vids for those who asked. The track pass is just bolt ons in 4300 DA and ridiculous humidity. Should've been around 11.6 -11.7 with better air.
Rocks, John E., Linte_Loco and 4 others Thank this. -

Some of the later posts make more sense. Sweet car
Now I believe the issue is you are finally getting a nicer life. Making plans. Money is steady. Very easy to lose focus.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but you wanna enjoy the nice life more The pesky job is in the way.
Gotta keep the eye on the prize for nowRocks, God prefers Diesels and Rubber duck kw Thank this. -
Eh, it's not really a job. It's this job. I've been feeling better this week. I'll be at 5700 miles for this week. I've been running some during the day. Maybe that helped. I don't know. Lol. I still want to go home everyday. I just want to be normal. Shower in my own bathroom. Have a bed bigger than a twin... Be with my family.
Thanks on the comments about the car.Linte_Loco Thanks this. -
Man that’s a lot of miles
No wonder You’re burned out
I can deal with anything, as long as I know it’s for a good reason and that it’s got a time limit and not going to be forever.
You have a light at the end of the tunnel , you just gotta keep at it for a few
More months .
once the wife starts getting the RN paychecks that will take a lot of the pressure off of you, and you can search out a different job that suits you.
my uncle works for a small company that does oversize heavy haul, he did 2330 miles last week and got paid around $1,800 before taxes. He usually leaves on Sunday afternoon and gets back Thursday afternoon .
11 feet wide and 110k lbs gross , gotta be off the road 30 minutes before sunset , some states oversize loads limited to 55 mph , have to stop and walk in the permit area every weigh station, every city has a curfew you’re not allowed to drive through at certain times , , etc etc -
It'll probably be more than a few months. But, we have a plan. Just takes discipline.Rocks Thanks this.
