I don't know; the truck is almost 13 yrs. old. Maybe an intermodal outfit.

Nope you can edit elds. My people net was just updated to meet the new eld mandate and I can edit my logs. However I cannot edit the drive line at all and neither can the folks back in the office. With the aobrd they could edit anything they wanted including the drive line back in the office.

    062 Thanks this.

Please don't divert this thread to arguing about ELD's.

For Landstar, looks like they take 35% of gross, which is a lot, but 100% fuel surcharge means they cover the fuel? Also, what's their cargo insurance like and what about other expenses. I know they break it down on their site but obviously I'm skeptical, I'd rather hear it from someone who works or worked there before.

hmm, so 100% fuel surcharge, plus cargo insurance, plus Dry Van, all of that is included in the 35% take for Landstar? This is starting to sound pretty #### good actually, especially considering that my old Cat C15 probably gets the same fuel economy as the Space Shuttle!

They don’t pay for your fuel. They give you the extra fuel money on top of the line haul sounds like.

Where do you live? Sounds like your current out fit is sort of a joke to be honest.

Brooklyn NY, unfortunately. So it's kind of a pain in the ### to get a load out towards the mid-west (my usual work region)
