I thought you made a hash mark on the paper for every mile marker you pass, then count up the hash marks at the end of the day!
####, I been hashing and marking all these years...it could have been so much easier, and less expensive...all the paper and pens I have wasted!![]()

For example if you run the 15 from Cali through NV, AZ, to get to UT....NV is 123 miles from b/l to b/l.....AZ is only 29 miles......If you put down 28 or 27 one time...it's your Az z........
NM is the biggest stickler for miles.....I usually fuel up at the Refinery behind the Pilot in Continental Divide (E/O Gallup) and that is an extra mile from the 40 to the refinery and back around....One trip I didn't fuel there and NM tax dept called the house to ask me about the "shorted" mile I "owed" them..... -
Count the mile markers....sometimes I crack myself up...BUT NOBODY GETS MY HUMOR IN MANY CASES -
I don't fuel in New Mexico or Oregon...In fact as far as Oregon is concerned, I will not take a load in there unless it pays extremely high.

I do remember the team that had the most points won the game!I do remember also the cheerleaders were better to look at than the #### game....bouncy, bouncy, bouncy!

doesn't the mile markers count themselves? i know leaving florida on I95 if the mile marker says 250 that means you're 250miles from the Florida Georgia border
-
Milemarkers count up when your going north. Only way you'd be 250 miles from the FL/GA line is if the last MM on 95 in FL is 500.
If you meant that as a joke, disregard this post. -
or get you one of those digital recorders, its easier to hit the button and say your mileage than to write it down while driving
