Or go old school with a percolator pot over a gas or wood flame
I got this at Walmart ($20) and it works fine. Runs off a little $3 can of butane fuel also available at Walmart
Plus something like this ..

I thought about that but so loud! The idea is to be able to close all doors on the van and sit in quiet listening to the gurgling sound of the coffee brewing. Methinks a generator would prove a mite noisy esp in the wee morning hours
Unless you know of a very quiet one? -
I bought a camping keurig for $15. I heat water in a hot pot and pour it through. Voila! Gormet coffee no fuss.

I don't like the hot water + plastic .... that's the only issue with that. In theory it would be awesome. If it was like stainless steel!

If you’re this much a coffee snob, why aren’t you using a French press?
A Jetboil is 80 buck, boils water in like 90 seconds I believe..
FYIW, I’m also a coffee snob and it works great -
Yes I have one. But it's messy to clean for the next go-round. .. that's the issue for that one. A coffee pot you can just toss the filter and grounds. So you see. .. it's complicated! Lol

Take the van to an RV dealership and let them install it. They sell all that type stuff for recreational vehicles and also have small inexpensive APU's (generators). Those little diesel powered generators are nice. You can have the portable one like in the picture or they can mount it directly to your van.
