Help!...Need help with a 2011 Freightliner Cascadia DD15!

Hello to everyone, after a journey trying to fix this truck and through a couple of "independent" mechanics trying to figure out what's was going on, and $5000 after, I sadly had no choice than take it back to Detroit Las Vegas and problem solved! ($9300 after!), all leaks were fixed and the main problem was just remanufactured injectors that the DD15 didn't like, supposedly they installed "approved" and "upgraded" injectors by Detroit; anyway; truck hasn't have a problem ever since (I'm knocking on wood!) but now that I'm ready for the first time but freight has dried out enormously and I'm pretty much sitting at home stressed out thinking about the next step but bills keep rolling in!, Thank you all for the advices and concern from fellow truckers, your help has been appreciated and I hope this thread will help anyone if ever goes through a similar situation; Thank again.

 

As an advice for fellow truckers going through Las Vegas, never, ever consider taking your truck to Freightliner Las Vegas! it's just simply a nest of thieves and a cesspool of scams! take my honest advice and stay away from this corrupt place or you will regret it!!

 

They mentioned that the "old style" copper top Bosch injectors are no longer used or functional by Detroit because of software and technology upgrade they were causing many issues, and those were the ones my DD15 engine had when I purchased it, so I assumed they replaced/installed the ones you mentioned. no more problems or check engine lights....(I'm still knocking on wood)

 

Yeah! that's what they told me, rebuilt copper top not good, because some B.S. that has to do with DD15 software latest update, Detroit didn't want to take back the old ones from the truck as core, kept saying they are the wrong rebuilt ones (Bosch)

 

No idea, they just said that they were no taking those BOSCH ones, Detroit didn't want them back as core or credit, ?????
