We had one poster one morning this week write about a subject guaranteed to rile the entire site and community, the Mods were johnny on the spot and showed that one the door within a few moments of that outrageous first post.Zoltan1a Thanks this. -
The engine/transmission/computer calculates exactly what is needed for a given situation. It does a pretty good job in most cases, although it needs a little help from time to time.
In the case of a downhill slope, it will try to maintain no more than 2 mph above the set cruise control speed.
The only way to speed going downhill, if on cruise, is to have a VERY heavy load on a VERY steep hill - and totally ignore the speed instead of going to manual and using a little brake.
Those speeding violations are through sheer carelessness, or worse by trying to go that fast down a hill.
3 or 4 of those will get you fired. Even once at more than 71 mph (or around in that area) for more than a few seconds can get you fired. -
Well done!SteveScott and Lepton1 Thank this. -
