Here's some trucking company schools you can try after receiving your green card. Don't call because they will say "no" at this time. After getting the green card, then apply online.

Schneider - (school is in Gary,IN)
YRC Worldwide - (school is in Chicago; once named Yellow Freight)
Swift
CRST

You can also apply for the WIOA Program; state of WI pays for cdl school. Google : WIOA Program Wisconsin

 

It does not matter what the reason is behind the ticket, the MVR will not show reasons just the fact it is a serious speeding offense.

 

It's only one ticket.
I had a few minor incidents with Werner. They put the screws on my dac. Guess who is making $25 an hr driving a bobtail tank now?

I found a company ( a legit one who has been in business for 60+ years ) who understands in urban environments things happen. Minor stuff.
This guy when he gets his green card will get a job. I suggest he get his cdl on his own accord so when this big scumbag companies turn the screws and they WILL... he won't be beholden to them.
I would also suggest he get ALL his endorsements. Get a year or 2 of experience. Then if he lives in a good urban area go get a tank job.
I am driving a bobtail tank home every night. $1500+ a week gross, not net.
Still over $1k net, doing way less then I did at Werner on their dollar accounts. Oh, and no big brother BS

 

Can your attorney help with the ticket or is it too late? That can be a big problem too combined with the no work history.

Yeah do the class. Even though it's regular speed companies view it as reckless.
