    you'll be fine.Just make sure to call your recruiter first thing in the morning.All she has to do is call the bus depot and they'll cancell the ticket.Take the ticket back to the bus depot.Don't tell recruiter you are going to a different school.This is where you lie,tell her you have the flu and ill call you when I get better to reschedule or a family member got sick and you need to stay close to take care of him or herDon't worry ,you won't have to pay for the ticket as long as you call your recruiter first thing tomorrow..You might say im kind of experienced at this,lol.I've cancelled a few bus tickets here and there,lol.I never had to pay for the ticket.

    Thank you also. I sure hope to be on my way this weekend. I know alot of people who just get burned out on trucking but, i have lived the life many years ups and downs .. I know the lonliness the heart aches and the let downs yet i still want to do it this is where i start my new life that god and my Bill gave me time for me to take the jump if i make it wonderful if not i will be crushed but, at least i can say i tried the driving part will be easy just the study part is hard for me.. I wont give up though i am a fighter and i try to successed in everything i do
    was a wonderful momma, fantastic wife, ran 2 very successful business for him one i babied for 18 yrs running charter boats out of galveston texas and a scuba maitenance business for irrigation now its my time and my dream. Thanks to all of Yall.

    Something wrong here. The company always pays for any travel expense. Green horn or not. Steel nerves, and judgement make a good Trucker. You might be being set up by a pervert! Check it out first.
    I saw this game in 1986, Wanted, driver trainee. Mc Allen to Chicago. $250 for four day trip. (good $ back then) Back haul pays $310.00 I almost died by a gay person I thought would show me how to drive a truck. I'm a guy. Be careful.

    yes i found out the ticket is refundable i was in no contract with CRE .. I have since signed up with Roadmasters school they are sending me to Arkansas alot warmer and they find me a job but, i have already got people that have called me wanting me to drive for them when my school is done so finding a job will be the easy part.
    O i have steel nerves and excellent judgement I can back a truck if i can back at 56' boat with a pickup truck now that is nerves.
    Backing will probably be easy for me .. I really want this and i want it even worse since the men in my family are so dead set against it.. Makes me more determined.

    It's not as bad as what you're portaiting it.I mean the lonely part just get a dog,lol.Tiny goes with me everywhere.Plus you do meet alot of nice ppl on the road.Ive been ding this since 2003,I like it.Right now im driving local mainly because my mom got sick and dad needed help with her.I'll be going back otr come April or so.This time im teaming.But all the yrs driving it's been solo.
