That would have been nice, but I do my best to avoid leaving problems for someone else to clean up. it'd also be nice if everyone would do that. Get trailers repaired when a problem arises, sweep em out, drop them correctly and make sure a load is legal before its dropped for someone else etc etc. i guess that's just asking for too much from some people. Not insinuating that you do any of these, just referring to lazy drivers in general.
Heck, I called Swift and reported an MT with a tire off the bead sitting at a shipper where I was getting loaded. And I don't even work for Swift!
Well, SWIFT contacted the scale house. Officer agreed to let me use the scale to see what we needed to do. I shortened it to 40 and crossed. Steers and drives are good, tandems 1100ish over. Officer said I could leave... And didn't give me any paper! Although he did seem quite reluctant about it.
I hope not! Headed to our yard in Mira Loma to be reworked. Can't make it back to the shipper without coming across another scale.
Nice work driver....If we ALL took the time, used our heads and made a few calls things like this can be worked out. Alot people today don't try to do the right thing and will shove their problems on someone else's plate.
