This is the manifold I was talking about. You would have to look at the air skematic to see where it goes. Take the fitting out and see if it's just a fitting or a valve.

It is the air manifold for the emergency (red) side of the system. What the line goes to?

I have no idea where #28 line goes....I removed the line...cut a fresh end, reattached it to the quick-fitting and it stopped the leak.

Sadly, when I pulled the hose OFF the fitting, I got blasted in the face with all of the air in the system!...hah...

Don't have a clue without the skematic. Don't overthink it just fix the leak and move on to the next issue.

Well after I cut a fresh end..and soaped it..I have tested it like 10x and no more leak - for now.
If it fails again, I know what it is and will pickup a new fitting but my guess is that what I did will hold.

Thanks guys. I am glad it was nothing more than this...

Here you go I'll make this really quick and simple. Get out your spray bottle, put a good squirt of your favorite dish soap, truck soap, whatever soap you like into the bottle, then fill with water.

Flip open your hood, You might want to park it in a spot where you don't mind getting close to mother earth. Charge up your air, reccomend shutting off the engine I would hate to see someone put their finger somewhere and not be able to find them later, so yeah shut it off. strat spraying, when you see bubbles theres your leak. and yes you can spray it inot the brake cans you you want. Probably take you under 30 minutes, process goes really fast.

I did what you suggested though...man I soaked everything down.
Didnt find it until I tore open the dash and sprayed inside there...

    Leaking again. Same fitting...:biggrin_25516:

So I guess I will take it out and get another. I just wonder if something is backfeeding into it and this is only the symptom and not the problem..
