Well if this is a legitimate person, posting a legitimate question, then I would say, "you should have known better".

To have at the very least 6 months experience, you would have known NOT to speed in ANY construction zone, active or non-active, makes NO DIFFERENCE.

I would "venture" to guess, this was not a legitimate posting, as I am looking at the "join date".

But if it "is" a legitimate thread, then you may not be hire-able for a while. Some say "up to" 3 years?? I think it may be a bit longer, as speeding alone, let alone where it was done, is a severe infraction, especially at 15 mph over the limit.

You're right, of course. I didn't mean for that to sound like an excuse, I was just sayin. If I'd been going the regular limit it wouldn't have been a problem. However, I have had some companies tell me that they would take me in 6 months to a year but most of them are flatbed companies. The one exception was Star, whom I've driven for before.

I've actually been in several situations where whole strings of traffic went through construction zones after hours, with no workers present, without any regard whatsoever to the posted construction zone limit.

Many companies view construction zone speeding the same as reckless driving, and 15 over in a construction zone IS reckless driving by law.

If you're goofy enough to speed 15mph over in a constuction zone with 2 HOS violations on your csa report, then you don't belong out here.Join the other 47 million reject's and get on the Obama plan!

in pa. now,11 mph or over in a work zone is an auto. 21 day suspension of licence, double fines, and enough points that if you have any points, your looking at another suspension.

So then by your admission, if 27 people jumped off a bridge, you would too??

If someone lit up a house on fire, you would too???

Do not say "whole strings of traffic", as you were talking about you, and you only. What others do, and you following them, makes you no better, and MORE LIKELY to get nailed, as you WERE SUPPOSED TO BE, the PROFESSIONAL.

    Exactamondo.

Man, this happens to me at least twice a day. Then if it's 2 lanes, they'll ride my ### like I'm going 20 below the speed limit. I know the consequences, and am not going to #### up mu license for save a couple of minutes. Some of these guys drive like they are untouchable.
