i am wondering if the stock coax is used for cb radio and tv in these trucks and can it be tuned or should i just get new coax and antenna mounts? also i am wondering if i should go with coiled antennas or good ole fire sticks with adjustable tips.

The stock coax is junk. get some good rg8 or mini 8 coax to run for your cb. You only need one antenna. if your running a stock radio with no extra power get you a francis 5' fiberglass and it will be pre-tuned already to the cb freq's. That is a great setup for a stock radio. If you want to run a coil antenna get a predator 10K. if you need to know where to get one let me know and I can give you the info for Kale's ( AKA. cowtown kid - the builder ) distributor.

Where do I get me one of these predators?

Here is John's telephone # 817-454-3455. He is Kale's direct distributor. You can call him and let him know what your application will be and he'll recommend the correct model for your setup.Punisher1985 Thanks this.

Thank ya sir! How much they run?

Depends on what model you get he makes several. Best I remember they start around $65 and then go up, but they are well worth the money. Just tell him what your running for a setup and he'll guide you to the right choice. Very good guy to work with and talk to.
