You would need to fuel the reefer up when done with it but there isn’t a way to my knowledge that they could tell if reefer is running or not. Is the reefer working? Did you haul a reefer load or just in a reefer trailer?

Maybe something is wrong with the unit, or it needs serviced at a certain amount of hours.
D.Tibbitt, Siinman and pumpkinishere Thank this. -
They may have noted the unit hours - just a hint.

Some reefers have it hooked up to network. can see live data on it anytime anywhere.

Or the guys knows how things can go quickly south, and the reefer load back gets turned into a week long fiasco and now has another 200 hours on the unit.
D.Tibbitt, Siinman and pumpkinishere Thank this. -
The broker is paying you for the load. You want to be paid so you follow their agreement. You could call them and ask if you could use the reefer and if they say yes I would get it in writing. Otherwise I’d keep looking.
Siinman Thanks this.
