Well actually i have a son was talking to his mommy earlier. I actually picked this truck up mondayy to bring back home and run short haul and be home every night or every other night. Just be happy to get my truck outta the shop and get home to them. Chomping at the bit to get home or at least back in the truck so i can see their faces a gain. Got their; pictures on the dash so they can go everywhere with me. Love them to death and i think being away from them for 5 days instead of 3 is whats killing me the most.

Husband has had vacations of over a week at Sparks, NV, Tulare, CA, and Charlotte, NC and about 3 days in Spokane, WA. Not by choice, truck breakdowns on a new truck.

It will only stress you out more worrying. It is a few days only. Talk to your wife several times if you have unlimited time, it will help her stay connected when you are out of town like that. She may not feel like talking much with strep though. She might feel better with the honey, lemon concoction for her throat, or even some hot tea fixed with lemon and honey. Does she have her mom or yours to help some, even to come over so she can get a nap in.

And if you think kids are great, wait till you have grandkids, nothing like them all.

Sounds great you can get a job where you will be home often to enjoy the baby. Hope all goes well.

Thanks her moms been helping her out while ive been gone. Hoping its all gonna go well too. Sorry to hear hubby was broke down with a new truck this ones got over 1.3 mil. On it so i figured thered be some problems just not used to it taking so long to get them fixed. Its supppsed to be done sometime today sooner the better. My uncle picked me up yesterday night and im staying with him now. But hes talking about keeping me here till the strom out here passes since i dont have chains (which wouldnt do me any good anyway) and so far its just rain. Hoping the shop calls around noon and i can hit the road and get to getting towards home. Txtd my girl till 1 last night she was starting to feel better and she got her penicillin the little guys doing good so its just a matter of seeing the family again. Thank you everybody for your support! Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.
