I got a stainless Walker smooth bore trailer that has a small leak that I haven’t been able to nail down, local trailer places won’t give me an estimate to fix and I don’t want to spend a pile of money trying to fix it.

Do any of you know if there is like an elastomeric tanker coating of some sort or at this point what’s the value of a trailer with a small leak

    thanks

How old and what SPEC is the trailer?

Stainless steel needs ASME shop able to repair it to specifications and their plate with the "R" stamp maintains the value.

As far as cost there are so many variables involved like the added cost of peeling the wrapper skins off an insulated wagon, etc.

There are no 'bandaids' when it comes to a tankwagon and the days of backyard 'self' repairs and 'goop' are long over.

I would speak with a Walker rep about suggestions where to have the leak found and repaired.

The integrity of the barrel IS the value of any tankwagon; fix it right.
