It can be leaking safety valve.... But I replaced a few to find out later that check valve on my AD-9 air dryer was defective not allowing air to flow from the air dryer to a wet tank...

The check valve on my c15 cat was spiting air out of it so I replaced it and it work for about an haur and it stated spiting air out of it and wont build up air is it just another bad check valve

Do you mean the unloader valve that's held in the head with two screws or the brass safety valve that pops off at high pressure?

Is your truck building to much air pressure? It shouldnt pop off if your governor and unloader valve are working correctly and cutting out your air compressor. And make sure the valve is rated for the right pressure, it should be printed on the side.
