Help with antenna choice

I like metal antennas, wilson 2000 or 5000, Predators, Brownings,Strikers, Monkey made, Viper, ect..... I haven't run Wilsons since they were bought out by Barjan a few years ago....I've been running a Browning for three years and it's been a great antenna for what I paid for it( 49.99) My wife is buying me a new antenna for xmas and i'm going to go with a predator 10k, I know alot of people that run them and they work well and handle the power from a liear well. I have melted fiberglass antennas with my amp in the past.
