help with codes on a kenworth with cummins engine

    Can anyone help me with these codes?

    I have a 2008 kenworth with a cummins isx and have these codes on the cluster.

    engine oil press/short-v
    sid 124
    sid 134
    sid 068
    trk erratic sens L#1

    My Cummins list does not include those codes. There is a PID 068 for cam sensor, but nothing for 124 or 134. These may be reported from another module. Do you have a check engine light on? If not, you are reading inactive codes.

    no check engine light on, they show up when I scrow thru the cluster. would the inactive codes cause any problems with the engine?

    Inactive codes mean there was a problem detected before, but it is not happening right now. As long as it stays inactive everything will operate as normal. The codes are just there for information.

    Engine Oil Rifle Pressure Sensor 1 would be the most likely culprit. Left side of the block, perhaps a little less than a third of the way up from the rear of the engine. Should be getting 5v supplied to it, should not see oil coming out of it.
