OY VEY........... Do you really pull skateboards? If you do it would seem you'd know vans are referred to as sissy wagons just as flatbeds are skateboards and doubles are wiggle wagons. It was a light hearted jab about him not wanting to pull flatbed.

It's amazing that a very confused driver comes on here and asks how he can cheat (or be creative) on his log and when a experience driver tells him he needs to manage his time better he's called a "super trucker". I believe you've got "super trucker" mixed up with "professional driver". Do yourself a favor and take the advice on time management. Or study up on court procedures.

    psanderson Thanks this.

Which was exactly the way I took it. That's why I chuckled....

I know a little light hearted ribbing when I see it.

I get sheyat from Van pullers and reefer yankers (friends and acquaintances) about tugging a skateboard.....

doesn't matter what you tug as long as it's steady and you get your $$$$$:biggrin_25525:

Noticed on reading this forum that nobody answered the question. You have to show at least 1/2 hour for loading and securement on "On duty/not driving". The rest of the time you can show as "Sleeper". This really doesn't help on your 14hr clock but you do save time on the 70hr clock. Can't really cheat on it, especially if you run paperless.
It takes me normally about 1 hour to tarp and secure a load unless it's an odd load or nasty weather. Might take a little longer then. I kinda get picky about how I secure. Had mom and kid killed in this area not to long ago because something came off a flatbed and went thru the windshield.
Of course then I spend and hour or so waiting in line for the shower at the truck stop.
