Right there is why you can’t make money with these companies. An entire day burned for 400 miles, paying mileage.
1. How I would rock that load: call shipper and receiver to see if I can get an earlier appointment.
2. Sleep at consignee in Memphis. Unload while off duty. Last 45min to an hour show a pre trip and unloading. Drive to next load shipper. Log on duty loading 45 min. Then log off duty. Regardless of when they actually load you. Take a nap or maybe they load early. If they take a long time you might get some hours with sleeper birth. Then drive to consignee. You might make it there within hours, if not you’ll be close. Then sleep and deliver.
Always try calling to early loading or unloading. Also check google maps some drivers give that info in the reviews.
