New to trucking here.
Where do you go to get insurance and what types do you need?
Aside from the commercial side, how hard is it to get life insurance or accidental death coverage?

Not sure about life or accidental death but a lot of truckers when starting get progressive that is unless your hauling live stock.
-
Depends on what your hauling and if you doing power only so we need more information from you.

I get mine from my agent.

Badmon and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this. -
For life insurance, get only level term, 15-20 year policy. If you have a family, its recommended 10-12x your yearly salary. Again, only level term, no whole life BS. You can find quotes online, the less fat and old you are the cheaper it is.... No need for accidental death, that's what life insurance is for.
