Help with hose type/part# please!

    2019 Freightliner Cascadia Evo DD15

    it’s a wire braided hose (12” possibly) that runs close to the driver side inner frame to the side of the power steering reservoir just behind the radiator. I don’t know if it’s a coolant heater hose, power steering hose, or potentially a compressor hose? I have reddish orange fluid (coolant or power steering) building up on the top of the wheel guard and that’s the only hose I see with any liquid or wetness.

    what fluid is in the Freightliner power steering sector - Search

    I don't know for sure. Reading the link above and the color you say the fluid is. I think the braided line is a power steering line. With the amount of fluid soaking thru the hose. Replace with same type. Make sure you bleed the lines after replacing.
    Freightliner should be able to tell you part#, good chance they have it in stock.

    Take the old hose off and have a new one made to fit. Parker Hose is a good place to have hoses custom and pre-sized hoses of all types.

    Where does the hose go into? If its p/s in a pinch you can replace with same size silicon or rubber hose and clamp. Looks more like a fuel line or oil line with that type of connector tho
