How is that? Does every company big and small lie then? Look at all of the jobs for drivers. Please explain why we won't make any money.
Yes, but we have ZERO bills. I just asked the wife and our payment is more around $3000 a month. It was about $145,000 all done and we put $35,000 down on it. We don't pay rent or a mortgage either, so like I said we live in our truck. Its fun hey.
If your wife is an accountant she can do the math. My formula is conservative, if you have to pay $4,000 per month on truck payments you will only make $2,500 per month profit. Does Bison pay for insurance or do you have to. Insurance for a new truck could be over $1750 per month with collision. You need at least 12,000 miles per month to make a living out of it. Also it would be better if you can cross into the USA. We are just trying to help you out.
Yes, companies are looking for drivers. But companies are also very aware that lease operators make them a lot more money than they can make with their own drivers. If you had something that could run offroad like hauling pipe ti pipeline projects I could give you names and numbers to call. Big shack Volvos are not made for this type of hauling.
Your numbers are real low. Where are you getting that we are only making $4000 a month. I am using Bison as an example, they are the worst case for us. Most places, including Trans x pay more and pay for plates. Our plates cost us $650 a month. We should be able to get 16,000 miles a month easy and get around $1.45cpm on average.
Plates don't cost $650 a month. Our plates cost $200 per month/per truck for all of the States and Provinces.
Does your wife drive? If she does then 16,000+ miles per month is possible. However if you are the only driver you can't do 16,000 miles a month legaly.
My numbers for plates may be off a bite, but I know that they don't cost us $2000 a month. My wife handles all of that and yes she drives.
Hey trouble 65, why do you think that plates are $1750 a month? We are based out of BC and have clean records.
