Bison is one of the top 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada. They don't push you to run illegal. As for transX, if you want to pull a flatdeck, you'll have to get on with the deckX division.
The lady at Bison told us that we get 2 days to get our load from Vancouver BC to Montreal QC. So how is that done? What do those big out fits do if you are late?
Bison gives you 2 days to get to TO from WPG. If your running late just update your ETA and PTA. They also don't push you like some other companies.
The lady must have been wrong hey? I thought it sounded off. How long do most places give you to go from Van BC to Montreal?
Can't do it. Bison runs at 100 kph (62.5 MPH) It's 2862 miles one way / 62.5 = that would be 46 hours non stop if you averaged 100 kph. Back in the 60's we had a COE KW with a 250 pulling A-Trains, no Jake and a 9 speed. Vanc. to Toronto took us 72 hours and vanc. to Montreal was 74 hrs.
If you run about 600 miles a day you can do it in 4.5 - 5 days. From Vancouver to Montreal is around 4500 KM.
I run about 550 to 650 a day, sometimes less. It all depends on how I feel and whats going on that day. I don't run at night, ever. Today I started at 4:30 am and parked at 7.
