I didn't say GA required you to have a refresher course . I said the minimum hours for that course offered by schools must be 70 hours . Insurance companies can and do say you can't just jump in a truck and drive without recent experience unless you take an approved refresher course . Again you are giving an unsubstantiated opinion . Produce a link showing you don't need a refresher course after being out of a truck an extended period of time .

In their pure ignorance they fail to understand and acknowledge that the pressure to cheat comes from the very top.

Some co's don't require a refresher if you don't have recent, but you will need to go out with a trainer.

How do i say it so you can understand I AM NOT working now, unless i want to make 7 bucks an hour, plus pay rent, and other bills. Or let someone else pay for school, start at 26cpm and 34 after a year. <<< maybe my math is wrong but I think that is better then no money? correct me if i''m wrong..ANd I wont have to be a burden to my state or country!!! To much dome and gloom, you a demacrat??lol Funny after more then 50 replys I still have not gotten an answer to where i can find info to study on paperwork involved in trucking.. I will be able to drive, drove 11 years in teh military, i will pass the CDL test studied and studied and studied, i want to learn other things like the paperwork.. And one more time if it is not clear, a TRUCKING JoB HASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TO BE BETTER THEN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JOB AT ALL!!! And I still belive if i put an all out effort into it, i can make good money after i pay my dues.. HAve to start somewhere and why not let the company pay for it?

I agree and thank you, like i said in my last post A trucking job is much better then NO job at all. Seems like people who are not happy and all dome and gloom should get out now while the getting is good, and open up a spot for me and the millions of people who have no job in thier areas. I guess living in a truck for 20 or more years they really dont have a clue what it is like out here, read what you want and watch all the CNN you want, but unless your living outside of trucking, and applying for jobs day after day, week after week and only just today getting a call for 7 bucks to sling coffee or driving a truck with a future, YES i think a future. I still belive i live in the GREATEST country in the world and unless i'm mistaking thier will always be trucking jobs!. Will it be easy NO, will it be better then nothing or serving a whinning trucker who complains about his job yes, i belive it will be better then that..Any info on the paperwork yet??lol

Do you want info on filling out a drivers log? If so search google for "DDl" Drivers Daily Log Software ..... It will help you out..Use the trial version and mock up some trips with estimated mileage and driving hours etc...Hope that helps you out a bit....Sorry Misunderstood your request....

The funny thing is I have read 1000 of post on this site over the last month. ANd I see trucker complaine about things htat just make me laugh. "I won't work for a company who uses Qcom" why should they know where i am at all times? Really, why shoud they know where THIER truck, trailer, driver and maybe a half million dollar load is at? "i've only been late 2 times this month and they let me go" Really so it is ok if lets say 4000 drivers are only late 2 times in a month? "i've been with 3 or 4 companies in the past couple years and they all sucked" really you dont think YOU the driver had something to do with that?? Come on drivers YOU and I HOPE myself soon, work for the COMPANY. It seems to me a lot of driver who have been on the road along time thing the reverse, JUST SAYING. YOU HAVE A JOBBBBBBBBBBB SMILEEEEEEEEEEEE:)

You've read 1,000 posts and can't figure out where to get the information on "paperwork " ? Maybe if you'd define "paperwork " you'd get an answer . Everybody that knows anything knows you can get all you need to know on regulations at the FMCSA website or out of the FMCSA Safety Regulation Handbook sold at most truckstops .
