Help with Pete 387 ground

    that would depend on how hard it is to snake that coax behind the panels.

    It would be a giant p.i.a. running it behind panels the way the sleeper is set up. I have a custom truck so it has extra shelving and extra insulation. Its why I was hoping for an easier solution like the braket. I dont have hand rails on the side fairing, but I have them on the back of the cab and on the exhaust supports. I realize that behind the cab is not the best place, but its the best alternative. Thank you for the suggestion though.

    What is a "non DC ground?" It is about 6' to 8' to the frame.

    Is this a length of rubber/plastic coated wire? What gauge? Or are you talking about the braided ground wire? Is that safe to run from the antenna down in between the cab shell and the interior material?
