Help with POD

    Thanks for the response. If I said signed Bol, I meant signed bols. They were trying to explain to me that a signed bol/bols is not the same as a Pod or delivery notice. I told them my father has been doing this for 30 years, he has always just turned in the bols signed, not an extra piece of paper with delivery notice on it. One was a smart ###, and said times are changing??? I politely said ok. I saw on a different post where some guys were going back and forth on if a signed Bol and a Pod are the same. So I just asked myself. Thanks again.

    I hope we agree here on one thing...that it takes a receiving person to sign a document stating the he has received the load. I think, it could be also argued that a POD could be any other signed by the receiver document stating the contents of the load, for example a packing list or a hand written BOL.

    It sounds like they are trying to string you along to keep from paying. A signed BOL is adequate and they know it.
