Help With Septic Pump Truck

    I just noticed that the tank appears to have two inlet connections for hoses. Why?

    There is one at the back just to the right of the outlet manway.

    And there appears to be a connections at the front just above the vacuum pump (bottom left of the pic). Or, is this something else?

    You install septic systems and you don't know anyone who can walk you through this while you are looking at the truck. Would be much easier to do in my opinion but I 'm always looking for the easy way out.
