Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've got a 2000 Western-Star 4964EX with an N14 Cummins engine, 13 speed Eaton Trans, 3:36 gear ratio with
295R75-22.5 Sumitomo 908 tires. My speedometer is approx 10 miles off, showing slower yjan actual speed. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to correct the problem? Thanks -
Hello, I'm new to the forum and everything I've read is very beneficial.
There is a lot of info and experience out there. My problem is my speedometer in off approx. 10 mph slow. I have a 2000 Wester-Star 4964EX with the following: N14 Cummins, Eaton 13 speed trans, 3:36 drive ratio, with 295/75/22.5 Sumitomo 908 tires. Can anyone advise me how to correct my speedometer? Will this spec sheet work for a KW speedo also? If not could u help me with my settings? 2004 kw w900 3.73ratio Toyo M610ZL 295/75/22.5 Or last six of vin 051959 keep in mind this had 24.5 talls from factory

2000 Pete 379 c-15 CAT 550hp 3.36 gear , 13spd, 275-75-24.5 ?? Mine quit rolling over miles and got another and they are set different,

I have a 2008 Kenworth T800 the max speed is locked at 60mph. when at 60mph my gps reads 48mph, my rear tires are 22.5, the front tires are floats I will have to check the size. can i get the speedometer calibrated to the correct speed.

1994 fld 120. Just changed my diffs from 3.91 to 373. Tire size is 11r24.5. With changing the diffs I like to adjust the speedometer head. Any idea what the switches should be with the 3.73 gears.

How do you get at the DIP switches on Freightliner????

Check post #26 from FYDA Freightliner Cincy. He attached a couple of PDF's. Reading the pdf's it looks like the dip switches are on the back of the speedometer. I intend to pull my speedo panel out of my truck and see if there are dip switches on the back in the next few days. I'll post back with my findings. Mackdaknife, is that where you found the dip switches?
