Okay, as I posted earlier I purchased a volvo 610 with a VED 12 engine to haul my RV 5th wheel. It is licensed in Oregon where I live (near Troutdale) as an RV, which means I can just get in and drive it. What I would like is someone who has experience with this truck to spend some time with me going over engine basics, checking brakes, maintenance etc. Anyone interested in making a few bucks would appreciate the help. My schedule is flexible, maybe we could meet in Troutdale.
    Thanks
    John

Call a driving school near you and learn how to drive.

Isn't the 610 still a class 8 tractor with a single drive axle?
    What tranny is in it?

Bought a Volvo v12 465hp class 8 to tow my RV 5th wheel with he says.

Licenced as an RV so I can just get in and drive he says.

Need to learn engine, brakes and maintenance he says.

Need a couple hours of your time for a few bucks he says.

Unless you've left out a whole lot of your experience here, you're freakin' nuts I says.

Didn't he say the camper was 12000 pounds?
Nothing a diesel dually pick up could not handle just fine.

I used to have a Dodge Ram 3500 diesel with a chip in it,opened up the intake and exhaust. It would pull a 48 foot car hauler loaded near 20,000 pounds and gain speed going up hill.

The Volvo may be over kill in my opinion...
