    Thanks for all your replies Jubajajoi, that would be good. I am away for the next few days but will be back monday. My 5th wheel is 17,600 pounds and yes by Duramax did pull it - but it was max load and frankly beyond legal limits for the truck had it been stopped - so the Tractor came to be.

    dont know much about the v 12 but have driven a few volvos with the cummins and mercedes in them.

    maybe im wrong but unless your duramax weighs 12 thousand pounds you arent at CDL weight and i dont see why theres a problem. but hey if you got the money to spend on a volvo tractor then have fun man! but i think you might need a class A cdl to drive it now because you will definitely be over CDL weight which is 26,001

    It really isn't one hell of an RV but loaded with water and stuff it is about 17,500.

    actually gets a little better mileage than my Chev Duramx did - and I am not sweating about if I can stop or not - or going uphill at 20mph
