one thing you may be doing is running it dry. This will take out a seal as well. I always assemble them with with lithium on the seal and on the sealing surface.

You will also want to inspect your seal surface for any nicks. I like to use cheese cloth on a clean surface. It will leave strings of cloth at the smallest of nicks.

If you still have the original seals you took out, double check and make sure you are putting the same seals back in.

It's time to step back and look at the tiniest of details, (IE, nicks, running dry, use brake Kleen on the breather etc)

Even go so far as to pull the axle tag and confirm you had the correct seal to begin with.

    volvodriver01 Thanks this.

Check your axle bearing journal if they have appreciable wear this can cause failure also. I have a customer with a 98 378 that we have had both front journals repaired.

any update? did you fix it? I have a 2007 peterbilt. my stupid butt decided to put on 6 new hub assemblies on it. well, created problems where there were none. Got a leaking seal front drive axle. Well, had ta replace the seal while doing otr. same day, that new seal started leaking. Now im thinking maybe one of the 6 hub assemblies was bad. So I am thinking to just dump this new hub and buy and install all new hub assembly, lock nut. Idk
