Werner tried that a few years back. Think it was 379 petes, and mayby w-9 kws. About everyone i looked at had bent bumpers and twisted fenders. The moral of the story is usually inexperienced drivers bend things. So get experience in whatever they give you to drive, keep a clean record and eventually you can get one to drive, or get your own. Spec it out however you want.201, CrappieJunkie, larry2903 and 2 others Thank this.

Well I'm funny about my f250 and try to keep it clean to the max so I try to take care of my stuff including a peterbilt for sure.. cant ride in a nasty smoked out truck
-
Kinda picky are we?
Im not trolling or difficult. You should have seen some of the old iron they gave me keys to over the years. And then say get going yer late.CrappieJunkie, Shaggy, larry2903 and 2 others Thank this. -
Can't ride in a nasty truck don't mean you can't take care of the outside, do you have the experience to drive?
stillwurkin Thanks this. -
To be honest yes I'm picky.. that's all my dad ever owned.. it's just what I like.. every body has what they like and dont like and as far as experience goes iv been riding in one my whole life and only 11 weeks in school but can I drive yes
-
Don't take this the wrong way but there's no way on God's green earth I would let a new driver in a 389 or w9 I owned... there will be situations you need to be able to see so you don't look like an idiot when you screw up. Hence why new guys that actually do get them tend to bang them up. If you absolutely must have one you could buy your own. Or drive whatever your employer gives you to drive and do it well for a while prove yourself and then more folks who have these high end trucks who want high end drivers for them. A new driver is not a high end driver. Sorry to dump all over your parade. It is highly unlikely is what I am saying.

Well I'm not your average rookie either iv learned alot about trucks coming up and I know how to drive.... I'm definitely not one of these steering wheel holders that work for swift that rides in the middle lane at 50 mph just sayin
