Have it checked before you run it. My turbo blew on my truck and would have blown my engine if I didn’t shut it down. I own the same truck. After three turbos had it deleted. Best move ever.

What you delete?
-
The variable veined turbo that came with the truck. Nothing but trouble. Old style turbo now. Runs great, 7 plus mpg every day.

From the looks of my pics the oil the turbo is gone right? I didn't see any smoke
-
Mine was smoking like it was on fire. I would have run the engine dry if I didn’t shut it down. In no time it pumped out and burned 5 gallons of oil.

Kinda looks like somebody did a poor job of putting on the filter and may have been over tightened to make a seal as a result.
Nando85 Thanks this. -
if you got oil in your cac hose on turbo side. your turbo is shot. if the oil makes it to the intake side. your motor will run away. it will suck every drop of oil out of the engineNando85 Thanks this.
