Tak....appreicate that. I am also excellent at navigating. I actually taught her. LOL. This has been a dream of mine since I was 13 so I have been reading road maps for years and I can tell you what interstates route through most major cities without looking at a map. I hate gps. I only use it if I am in the city and they have one way streets. Don't want to go down the wrong street on a one way. I am actually teaching her everything I know about trucking and I pay all the bills etc, so I am set up well there. I am sorry that driver didn't work out for you. I can stand to be away from home if the kids come. Actually, honestly, I will do OTR until the kids come and then Ill move to regional or dedicated. Take care and stay safe. pmiller, they are on my list. Seems like a great company. I appreicate the heads up. Do you know if they allowed you to take riders right out of training.

 

Ill call them tomorrow. I am already enrolled in school somewhere else, but I will see if they hire recent cdl grads. They have been in my top 5 this whole time. I don't start till June, but I just want to have all the info I can get so I can make the best decision and discuss it with the wife of course.

 

Lol. I know right? That is the reason that I want her to go with me right away. She wants to share this with me, and I can't say I don't blame her. Other option is flat bedding. TMC promises to have you home most weekends and I can do that for 6 months, then bring her on the road with me. That is an option we have too.
