HELP

Yeah, zombie threads sometimes pop up.

 

I have heard about a dozen variations of that story. It was even in the movie "A TIME TO KILL" to discredit a Doctor's testimony in the trial the movie was about.
It either happens an awful lot, or it is one of those stories that gets told over and over but never by someone that it actually happened to.
Reminds me of the truckstop story that I have heard dozens of times... "My buddy was driving in NYC could not make a right turn because a BMW,PORSHE,MERCEDES,(insert any brand of expensive car here) was parked illegally. He had traffic backed up and a cop told him he was gonna give him a ticket if he didn't make that turn right this instant. So my buddy made the turn and drug his trailer right over the hood of the BMW,MERCEDES,PORSHE etc... Then the cop went and put a ticket on the windshield of the smashed car for parking illegally...
I have heard that story as well as the statutory rape story dozens of times.

 

Sadly the NYC story is true, I know, I've done it. Not to a BMW or high dollar car but a honda crv. They will give you an impeding traffic ticket. But the car HAS to be illegally parked, otherwise it is considered a preventable you are charged with.

 

How long were you holding up traffic before the cop arrived and told you to drive over the Honda? How much damage did it do to your trailer, and what did your company say?

 

About 2 light changes. Ripped the driver fender and door back. No damage to my trailer and my company (mom and pop) told me to do as I was instructed by police and look for damage to trailer when out of the city.
