Why you trying to move it once it set up you shouldn't need to move it . Does driver know how to slide it . You need to lower landing gear to get the weight of the plate for it to slide

 

In CA, you're supposed to take 15 min break every 5 hours, plus your 30. I had messy logs while I was in their bay once, but they still let me go. So Idk haha

 

5th wheel not sliding, there's lots of companies (the one I work for) and others that have fixed position fifth wheels that will never slide I.E. fixed position.

 

So I wonder what happened to the OP, did she just do a drive by and never to be seen again?

 

The worst part at no time did she ever take responsibility for her lack of action. Nor did she apply the proper responsibility to the driver.
Those two things right there are a recipe for failure. If we don't learn from our mistakes we are doomed to fail.

 

She realized that she didn't get the shoulder to cry on because "big evil government" and left. Which is sad, 'cause all those thing except the weight is an easy fix.
Of course it doesn't help it's a dumb and dumber situation. I don't mean that derisively either. A brand new owner, employing a brand new driver. No one know what's going on.... She needs to hire someone with experience (and pay appropriately), or simply keep taking the hits until they both learn.

1. I fixed everything and He's fine. I do trust him because he's My Little Brother and I'm keeping him at work and off the streets so he doesn't become another statistic as a young black male.

2. Not cheap at all, I'm currently taking care of a family of 6 paying all bills and Mortgage, and still managing my Trucking business My Myself. I don't have money to just throw away, especially when I'm saving to buy a new home to support my own family when I decide to make one.

3. It's my first time owning trucks and I'm still learning as I go so thanks for the Advice. I will use it from now it because it's really good to get myself as well as my employees to know what should be expected before we move our trucks.

I made sure of all fixes to my truck myself, as he was coming home.

 

Yeah she didn't even put us oos, so I just got it changed at a TA

 

She didn't put us oos but said we just needed to change tire asap, washer cap was in Truck. I bought the FE and coil hose at TA and got the tire changed also.
