I am married have been for 16 years dated for 7 and have a 5.5 year old girl that has been stuck to me since the day she was born. It is breaking my heart to leave her and my wife. I will be home every weekend. I can't get a local or delivery route until I have enough experience so I am going on the road for awile. I am not commited and uncomfortable. My driving experience is limited but managable. I don't have a clue how to do what I am about to do.

What a tough situation! I suggest that if you have a laptop on the truck, buy a web cam, and have your wife add one to the home computer, as well.
That way, when you are stopped for the evening, or at a shipper/receiver, you can talk with, and see your family, on the computer, and they can see you, too!
Won't aleviate missing them, but will make it a little more bearable.
Good luck, slickity!
