My husband just started driving for Hogan driving a dedicated route, delivering for dollar tree. On the passenger permit it says I can't ride with him for the first 3 months and I can't help unload the trailer. Well I can't just sit in here while he unloads I'm the heat. I was wondering if there was a way around this. Like could I be put on the payroll so I could legally help or what? Also we moved over to this company from another with much looser passenger regulations and we literally lived in that truck, so until I can join him, I'm homeless. Any way around this? Of we explain our situation could they make an exception?

This was something you should of asked before starting for the company it's kind of hard to change the rules, I've no doubt they would of made him sign a contract of some sort to say he understands all the rules of the company right? So maybe hubby needed to consult with you on this topic it certainly is not the companies fault.
