If the hemorrhoids get too severe, the truck driver may need to change occupations altogether, preferably one that requires much less sitting.
This is a case of health requirements vs. monetary requirements, perhaps another job in the office or on the loading docks. Hemorrhoids can lead to much more serious health issues.

This is NOT meant to offend or insult any truck drivers, but to offer helpful advice to avoid potential health consequences "down the road".
I personally have spent most of my adult working life either standing on my feet or doing some kind of moderately physical work. It is reward vs. risk as far as one's health is concerned. Every job has it's issues and risks.

Hemmerhoids occur from physical exertion as well as sedentary lifestyle. It is not medically agreeable that you conclude drivers change occupations due to a non disqualifying medical issue anyway. There are many open reasons engorged veins occur. Weird.
