Did you readjust set screws in top plate? Have to snug up spring bolts, tighten set screws, then torque spring bolts. Bent cross tubes cause some funky issues too.

WyoVac, Oxbow and pushbroom Thank this.

Yeah I think I did one side at a time so I'm going to go back loosen it all up square everything up with frame and then retighten and torque everything

That should take care of it. Hendrickson always wanted whole truck jacked up and drop beams and cross tube as unit. Keeps everything free and out of a bind.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

I had to reread this. Like spsauerland said. Also check that the center bolts through the springs fit properly in the mating hole.

    Oxbow and Heavyd Thank this.

Yes they are half inch put the point was the size of the head. They are not all the same. Does it fit in the hole and not bottom out. Are they in the hole? Are both the springs the same? Measure center pin to front bushing.

    Mgrimmett28 and spsauerland Thank this.

Yeah I'm not sure on that one, and they definitely bottom out the spring is flat on the saddle forsure. never even though to measure the springs to be honest they weren't both Dayton springs. one come from somewhere else and I'll measure tomorrow if I fool with it. we've been rained out and have more coming this weekend.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Like Boxcar said, it may be where the center bolt of the spring pack sits in the saddle, there is some play there, so if you tightened down the bolts with walking beams slightly pointing one way or the other, that is why it is dog tracking now.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
