I have the same bumper on my T880.. I love the bumper but I can't seem to get it to quick squeaking while the truck is idling. Does yours do that?

I like the herd because once you tighten screws it doesn’t rattle or squeak you just need to add a piece of rubber to the tow pin so it doesn’t bounce and rattle ..PS took out a huge buck one night all I had to do was use a bottle of water on headlights so I could see no damage other a scratch on moose bumper itself.

I'd go with the Herd.

that is right. the 2 big screws in the front to release the bumper and then open the hood.
the slam jams are as the name suggests. there is a small lever behind the bumper in the middle, give it a quick pull and it unlocks. lift it up and slam her shut when you are done. just keep the system lubed.
Mik Mak Fabrication Ltd. - New Liskeard, Ontario
these guys are in northern Ontario. they custom build some heavy duty stuff. A friend of mine recently got one of their bumpers for his 389. seems solid but has not hit anything yet. -
after a year and a half i would say of having it I did get a bit of rattle or squeek. I re-adjusted the bolts that control the latch system and all was well. I was told to keep the latch system lubed regularly which seems to help a lot.Vampire, cke, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

Mik Mak made some pretty nice custom sleepers. A few trucks where I used to work had them installed.
-
my friend waited about 2 months or so for his.
Herd also had a wait. It was about the same wait. the difference for me was a herd is made locally no need to ship. Ordered through the KW dealer and they did the install as well all for the same money minus the shipping costs. This was pre covid though. -
Side note herd didn’t want to start a run on cascadia bumpers for freight liner until they could order 5 to 10 so buddy went to Mik mak who also can service them if needed .
