Since New Years Day, (1/1/2025), I DRASTICALLY changed my diet, combined with exercise:
    1)
    predominately vegetables
    2) moderate amounts of protein
    3) minimal amounts of carbohydrates
    4) little to no sugar, salt, or sodium, (including artificial sugars & sweeteners)
    5) I stay away from cakes, pastries, ice cream, chocolates, candies, along with fried foods, or foods laced with butter, grease, fats, lards, & vegetable oils. The only cooking oil that I now use is olive oil.

So far, here are the results of my dietary changes, since New Years Day, (1/1/2025), I have been getting medical lab tests on my own:
    1)
    A1C went from 11.7 to 6.9
    2) Blood glucose went from 232 to 151
    3) Blood pressure went from 174/94 to 134/84
    4) Total cholesterol went from 181 to 126
    5) LDL cholesterol went from 126 to 79
    6) Triglycerides went from 143 to 113

    NOTE (1):
    1)
I am still working to bring my numbers further down, HOPING to avoid strokes, heart attacks, amputations, & blindness.
    2) I am also working HOPING to avoid medications as long as possible.

    SERIOUS WARNING:
    1)
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone try to do what I did without first going to a doctor.
    2) I personally took a SERIOUS CHANCE doing what I did without first going a doctor.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

That's impressive. Keep us posted as those numbers come into their optimal ranges.

That is the problem with doctors and why I never use one except for my physical every two years, they do not know anything about healthy eating other than what they were told in med school. I was in pretty bad health until a couple years ago when I cut out most of my carbohydrates and went to eating basically beef, butter, eggs, and other meats. Absolutely no processed foods, very little fruits and vegetable.

The last physical I had showed by blood pressure at 110/71, waist size went from 38 to 32 inches, and all my physical problems disappeared, the big one being trouble breathing at night.

The medical world has it all backwards when it comes to healthy eating, the low fat, salt, and, red meat diet they recommend is what has caused all the health problems we have today. Never before in history has anyone needed to take medications to treat diabetes, blood pressure, and all the other metabolic diseases.

Most doctors will agree processed foods are bad. The carbs coming from a simple baked potato weren't causing the size 38 waist, the processed foods were.

Understand that those carbohydrates, even the ones in something as natural as a potato, all turns into sugar. That sugar breaks down into glucose and fructose. That is what causes all the never ending diseases folks have today.

Processed foods and oils are the issue 100x more than natural carbs.

And just because bacon and butter are not classified as "processed", doesn't mean they're healthy by any means.

As all things, the poison is in the dose.

All our lives we have heard about the dangers of saturated fat from bacon and butter, I grew up with the food pyramid being taught in the classroom. Everything we have been taught though was a lie. Cholesterol is not bad for you, your own body produces several times more than you could possibly eat each day. Saturated fat is not bad for you.

Bacon and butter is what folks have been eating since the beginning of time. Those are the healthiest things you can possibly eat.
