I pick up a load of totes filled with paint today, 11 of them so makes my flatbed feel like a tanker with the surge. Gotta have tanker endorsement for the load. Loaded these off highway 79 about 8 miles south of Hannibal, Missouri...

Soon as you turn out of shipper and head north you are climbing hill... I'm running 20mph with flashers going. Bozo in pickup with single axle lil trailer hauling a riding lawn mower comes flying up, all in my rear, now he wanna play the ride over the line game like I'm in his way... OK?

Plenty of legal passing areas but he continues the nonsense. Finally, ( or not so ) right when I'm cresting the hill couple miles before town, as the lines on the road turn double yellow and a "No passing zone" is posted, this loser decides it's time. SMH

He blows by, thank goodness another vehicle wasn't headed south, talk about a disaster. Anyhow, he jumps back over in front of me and tell me why, the hood on his riding lawn mower that's parked in reverse on trailer Flys open, :biggrin_2559: so @JonJon78 is about pee his pants, 1 second later a huge pop is heard, Darwin in the making now slams on his brakes as the hood on his mower, Flys off. :laughing6::laughing6: They musta thought my Peterbilt had a rocket launcher it. I've never owned a riding mower but assuming they have shock absorbers like big trucks, that snapped in half ( hence the loud pop )

He floors it some more, I'm thinking the show is over and tell me why, about 1.5 miles up this loser and his old lady, are on the shoulder ( which is mostly grass ) with flashers on, out the pickup, assessing the damage to the mower he F'ed up just to save 20 seconds. :violent1:

I ain't never put my foot 2 the floor so hard in my life. Sure in the hell didn't move over one inch. I hope both of them blew over from the gust of wind when I'm blowing by...

I swear, it seem lately. 5 mile straight line, they wanna tail, soon as dangerous no passing zone comes, they wanna be stupid and pass or try. Unreal.

    I'm not understanding? :dontknow:

Make no mistake, if the hood on that lil dinky riding mower flew off and hit my Peterbilt hood, be rest assured I'm praying that they keep going cause if they stop, I'm erupting like a volcano, him and his old lady getting the treatment, wanting to pass me in no passing zone ready to kill some innocent people for saving 20 seconds. Unreal boy.

The stupid on the roads is getting past knee deep these days. Unbelievable.

The moral of my rant is, seeing that losers mower hood fly off, will be one I remember 4 ever!!! :hello2:

Used to see that all the time out in east texas. Ran between Beaumont and Carthage hauling condensate. Highway 96. Mostly 2 lane, 75 mph speed limit. One day, little red car about to have a stroke trying to pass me. Finally he does, illegally and blazes down the road. Get on up the road to Teneha, a notorious speed trap, and there sits the little red car getting written up lol

Guy hauling crushed cars approaches an overpass, hood flies up gets seared off and flew like a frisbee. Didn't see that coming.

I was on a two lane highway (TX 72) when a four-wheeler crossed the double yellow line and passed me in a no passing zone. He cut right in front of me when a vehicle crested the hill in the oncoming lane.

Much to my amusement, the vehicle in the oncoming lane was a county mounty whose lights came on before he even finished doing the flip.
