Climate Express might be able to help you. I've been a year and a half and haven't looked back. We have freight that goes to the Phoenix area. They only require 1 year OTR experience or 2 years tractor trailer experience....it don't matter if its local. Once I am all the way finished for the night, I'll PM you

If you do have any questions about Pride, shoot me an PM, I will answer what I can, and find the answers to what I cannot. I work in Road Services, but I am just down the hall from the recruiting office. I can have answers in a matter of minutes.
Thanks @ChinatownAccidental Trucker Thanks this. -

If you want reefer, Magnum LTD out of Fargo might not hold that against you. I know they hired some oilfield guys in the past. Not sure where your located though....
Edit: Oops... just saw AZ. They don’t run there as far as I know. At least they didn’t when I worked there, sorryaztruckerr Thanks this. -
What you need is a smaller company. I went through 6 driving jobs in first three years. Finally found the best I have found. A 22 truck company. Their own terminal. Just about everyone in the office has driven. They have comprehension. No it's not perfect. We do have goofy things go on. Not the highest pay. But it's good straight forward pay. No qualify for this or that bonus BS. New trucks. I'm not joking. Owner don't hold onto trucks into 1/2 million miles. Best Peoplenet I have had so far. Again...not perfect...it is goofy. But the best so far. No having to deal with mitigation systems or governed slow speed. These governed at 75mph. I still drive 65. Will use that speed at times. I hate how the truck stops rip us on fuel. I try to save fuel.
I found this job through a very unpretentious simple add in Craigslist. They love me. I is a happy camper. Finally...
One test I did on employers.
I'd tell them I did class b, licensed 50k pounds on three axles. For 7 years.
The ones who weren't impressed were losers.
The ones impressed had comprehension and knew what they were doing.TripleSix, CorsairFanboy and aztruckerr Thank this. -

The few locals drivers we have hired on never lasted too long. They couldn't get used to living in a fart box for 2 weeks at a time and actually having to abide by appointment times.88228822 Thanks this. -
I'm local only because of a situation that was out of my control. If I had my way I would of finished my lease with earl l Henderson.
If it's meant to be than so be it. Everything will fall into place.JolliRoger Thanks this.
