Just finished my upgrade and orientation. From what I have seen in my short time, the more you make yourself available for work, they will try and get you the miles. Alot of it is based oon your relationship with your dispatcher. Just remember to treat others as you would like to be treated and communicate effectively. If you have a problem or concern, voice it. But do it it in a professional manner. It is kind of funny to see how many people forget the basic manners that we all learned in preschool, it just creates unneeded tension which makes things worse.

We had a guy that had a family situation that needed attention. On the day we got our truck assignments he talked to someone about situation. Now normally what happens is you get a load from where you get your truck that will get you home for a few days so you clean out truck and visit family. Well they got him a bus ticket home to handle the situation and said they will find him a truck closer to his home so he doesn't have come all the way back, and to take the time he needs to get this fixed. yeah he doesn't get paid while he is not running but he still has a job.

I have been pleased with what I have seen so far as far as to how they treat their employees, yeah pay could be better, but you got to start somewhere.

Yeah, for the most part, I have heard there are some decent employees there. You will have to keep me updated on your progress. Im interested to see how they turn out in your opinion.

Well I am a newbie, but from the threads you read on here about PAM there is alot of negative experiences about this company. You will read on here though, that with every company, there is a negative and a positive. It's all about personal experience and work ethics. If you bust you ### for a company, in return you SHOULD get compensated for a decent amount of money and miles. It's all about research and dedication to the job that determines what you make out of it and how the company will treat you. (Just my opinion) take care

PAM doesn't have a lot of terminals. In fact, the only one worth a darn is their home terminal in Tontitown, AR.

When I was there, they had a drop yard in Atlanta.
